FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. - A 15-year-old Fort St. John boy who had been missing for more than a week has been located.
The Fort St. John RCMP said the teen, who had been the subject of a public appeal since last week, has been found.
Police did not release any additional details about where he was located or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
“The 15-year-old boy who was reported missing on July 9, 2026, has been located,” police said in a statement.
The RCMP also thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance in helping locate the youth.
The teenager was last seen in the Fort St. John area on July 6 and was reported missing on July 8.
RCMP and his family had expressed concerns for his wellbeing, prompting a public request for information.
Now that the teenager has been located, CJDC TV News has removed his name and photograph from this story.
