With training camp just over a month away, the Fort St. John Flyers have announced their new head coach.

Reid Campbell is taking over as the new bench boss after the Flyers have struggled over the past few seasons.

Originally from Haynes junction, Yukon, Campbell brings with him an impressive on ice track record. He played in the BCHL before going to the United States to play at St Norbert College in Wisconsin.

Campbell also played in the East Coast Hockey League before coming back to Fort St. John to help the Flyers win the Campbell Cup in 2018.

Campbell will be joined by Assistant Coaches Troy Hunt, a 13-year veteran with the Flyers, and Alex Keeley.

The Flyers training camp gets underway on October 1 at the North Peace Arena.
