It was a great three days for Jake Gardner, after the Fort St. John bull rider won both PBR Canada events in Manitoba.

On Thursday, Gardner took home first place at the PBR Touring Pro Event in Dauphin. Then on Saturday, Gardner won the PBR Canada Cup Series ‘Mazergroup Chute Out’ in Brandon.

Gardner got off to a good start in Round 1 of the ‘Mazergroup Chute Out’, delivering a score of 84 points aboard the bull, Red Rust.

The Fort St. John native then delivered an 86-point ride in Round 2 aboard Kraken.

Then in the championship round bull draft, Gardner selected a familiar foe in Patiently Waiting, less than 48 hours after winning in Dauphin on the same bull.

The two victories vault Gardiner into first place in the 2025 championship standings. Gardner wrapped up the weekend with 128.5 national points, extending his lead to 116 points over the second ranked Dakota Buttar.

Gardner is now in a good position to compete for the $100,000 bonus prize at the end of the season.
