RCMP are warning of a new scam targeting online shoppers.
RCMP said fake websites and social media pages, which closely resemble the hardware chain’s official channels, were posing as Peavey Mart and selling items online. They offer goods at up to 90 per cent off the sticker price.
Peavey Mart, a farm and ranch retail store, announced in late January that it was closing all its stores across Canada.
Peavey Mart does not operate an online store, according to the RCMP,
