Emergency Room diversion planned for Dawson Creek Hospital cancelled

The emergency department at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital will not be on diversion Friday, accoding to Northern Health.

The service interruption was expected to begin Friday at 5:00 am, as announced by Northern Health via social media.

In a follow-up post, the authority said, “as of 8:30 July 11, this Emergency Department service interruption has been cancelled.Staffing has been arranged, and the Dawson Creek & District Hospital emergency department is open.”
