The Dawson Creek RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance with information that can lead them to locate Devin Calliou, who has multiple outstanding warrants in both British Columbia and Alberta.
Despite being charged over 20 times in the past for breaching his release conditions, a judge once again let Calliou out on bail.
Now the 29-year-old is wanted for charges including two more counts of breaching a release order and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
According to RCMP, Calliou has a long criminal history, with offences ranging from multiple counts of break and enter, failing to comply with release orders, and flight from police, to obstructing police, unauthorized possession of a firearm, theft, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and public mischief.
He is currently bound by a court-imposed curfew condition requiring him to reside in Prince George. However, Mounties say Calliou is known to be currently breaching the condition and is believed to be in the Peace Region.
Devin Calliou is described as:
- 6′2″
- Approximately 200 lbs
- 29
- Black Hair
- Brown Eyes
- Large tattoos under both his right and left ears; pockmarks on his face
Police are also warning the public not to approach him if located, as he is known to take extreme measures to evade apprehension.
