Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the Taylor Bridge Friday night, as maintenance will be taking place.
Dawson Creek Road Maintenance will be working on the bridge from 7 pm until 3:30 am on Friday, May 1.
During this time, motorists are being asked to watch for traffic control personnel as single lane alternating traffic will be in effect, led by a pilot car.
Oversized loads exceeding 3.85 metres in width are advised to schedule routes accordingly as they will not be allowed to cross the bridge during the work.
Dawson Road Maintenance will also be performing bridge deck washing on the Taylor Bridge from Monday, May 4 to Friday, May 8.
Bridge deck washing will continue the next week from Tuesday, May 11 to Friday, May 15, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
It will be the seventh time in three months that traffic has been disrupted on the bridge for scheduled maintenance or cleaning.
