The Traffic Circle in Dawson Creek will be closed for island repair from 7 am to 5 pm on Wednesday.
The city says it will impact traffic from Alaska avenue, highway 49, and 8th street.
They ask local traffic to plan alternative routes using city streets and to follow instructions from traffic control staff.
The city asks heavy trucks and non-local traffic to avoid the city by using the Dangerous Goods Route, Rolla Road, or 210 Road.
