A section of 8th Street in Dawson Creek, part of the city’s traffic circle area, is expected to reopen to traffic Tuesday evening.
The road was closed last week while construction crews completed work to upgrade the sewer line.
The contractor was called back by the City of Dawson Creek after repairs completed last year required additional work.
City officials say the repairs are being carried out under warranty, meaning there is no cost to taxpayers.
The road was reopened over the long weekend to help ease traffic, but closed again Tuesday so crews could complete paving.
Officials expect the traffic circle and surrounding roadway to be fully reopened later Tuesday night once paving is complete.
