The Rotary Club of Dawson Creek is canceling its annual Old Fashioned Christmas event.
The event was scheduled to take place at Walter Wright Pioneer Village on Sunday from noon to 4:30 pm.
“We’ve made the hard decision to cancel the Old Fashioned Christmas Event for 2025 due to the extreme temps and snowfall,” the Rotary Club said on social media.
It said the extreme conditions in Dawson Creek are not fit for people or animals.
The Rotary Club said it consulted with all groups involved in organizing the event before making the decision.
