The City of Dawson Creek has announced that a warming centre is now re-opened at the Nawican Friendship Centre.
The centre re-opened January 31st, and will remain operational around-the-clock through February 11th, 2025, for those in need of respite from the cold.
Light refreshments will be made available at the site located on 1401 102 Avenue.
The warming centre being made possible thanks to the Nawican Friendship Centre and funding provided through The Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (EMCR), according to the city.
