DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating Zachary Lazinchuk, who was reported missing on August 12.
Police say the 34-year-old had been working on a farm in Saddle Hills, Alberta.
Police say Lazinchuk had planned to return home after last speaking with family on July 22. However, he has not been seen or heard from since.
According to RCMP, it remains unclear whether Lazinchuk stayed in Alberta or travelled to British Columbia as intended.
Investigators say they are concerned for his health and well-being, noting that friends and family describe his prolonged absence and lack of contact as out of character.
RCMP describe Lazinchuk as:
- A Caucasian male
- 34 years old
- Six feet two inches (188 cm) tall
- 229 pounds (104 kg)
- Shaved head
- Hazel eyes
Police say he is associated with a green 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab equipped with an aluminum flat-deck and displaying B.C. licence plate 01574A.
