Police in Dawson Creek are investigating after two separate bank robberies were reported just days apart on the same stretch of 10th Street.
RCMP say the first incident happened June 19 at around 5:36 p.m. at the RBC branch.
A suspect, described as wearing a black full-face motorcycle helmet, dark clothing, gloves and a ski mask with sunglasses underneath, allegedly brandished a weapon and demanded cash before fleeing on a scooter with an undisclosed amount of money.
A second robbery was reported four days later, on June 23 at about 11:06 a.m., at the Scotiabank branch nearby.
Police say a suspect wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, hat, black pants, gloves, a face mask and sunglasses also allegedly brandished a weapon and fled the area on a scooter with cash.
Investigators believe both suspects are male, but say few other details are available at this stage.
“The suspects are believed to be male, although no other descriptors are available,” said Staff Sergeant Kris Clark of the BC RCMP. “While the investigations remain in the early stages, police are working to determine whether there is any connection between the two cases.”

No one was physically injured in either robbery, according to police.
RCMP are asking anyone with information, including CCTV or dash camera footage, to contact the Dawson Creek detachment at 250-784-3700.
