DAWSON CREEK, B.C. - Dawson Creek RCMP executed two search warrants at separate locations in the city Tuesday night as part of an active drug investigation.
Police carried out the first search at a home in the 8400 block of 17A Street. One woman was taken into custody during the operation and was later released pending further investigation.
Sources tell CJDC News that a second search warrant was executed at a room at the Peace Villa Motel. Dawson Creek RCMP confirmed both warrants are connected to an ongoing drug investigation.
Mounties have not released details about what, if anything was seized during either search. Police also declined to comment further, citing the active nature of the investigation.
No charges have been announced at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
