A Dawson Creek man is facing a long list of charges after Grande Prairie RCMP allege, he tried to flee from officers after a report of a stolen vehicle.
On Saturday night at approximately 9:57 p.m., police received a call regarding a vehicle, that was later discovered to be stolen, with a stolen license plate, parked in the area of Crystal Ridge.
When police arrived at the scene, they saw a male leaving a residence and getting into the vehicle. The male suspect, and lone occupant, drove off, allegedly attempting to flee, but was stopped by approaching officers.
Mounties allege the suspect then attempted to flee on foot, prompting a brief foot chase, which ended with the male being taken into custody.

- 13.5 grams of fentanyl
- 2.1 grams of methamphetamine
- 10.3 grams of cocaine
