Northern health is advising residents of the Dawson Creek area that the emergency department at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital is interrupting services between 5 am and 3 pm Monday.
Northern Health made the announcement on social media, and said the interruption is once again due to staffing challenges.
In a prior post, the health authority said the interruption would start at 8 am, but it was later changed to begin at 5 am.
Norther health said residents needing emergency care should call 911 to be transported to the nearest available facility during that time.
