The Dawson Creek Canucks are warning hockey fans their Facebook page has gained the attention of scammers.
The team is broadcasting every game of the Senior Male AA Provincial Championship taking place at Memorial Arena.
Commentator Erik Nelson says scammers have been posting fake links, asking for payments to access live broadcasts.
Nelson says not to fall for the trick as all games are free to watch. The Canucks have also posted a warning on social media, saying: “If someone is charging you, then you are being scammed.”
The 2026 Coy Cup began on Tuesday, and the finals will take place on Saturday. Fans can access live broadcasts here.
