The Dawson Creek Canucks are preparing to host the 2026 Coy Cup next week.
The Senior Male AA Provincial Championship gets underway Tuesday at Memorial Arena. It’s the first time Dawson Creek has hosted the tournament.
The tournament opener sees Rossland take on Powell River. Later that evening, Dawson Creek faces Quesnel.
Start times for games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be 4pm and 7:30pm.
The semi finals will take place on Friday night followed by the finals on Saturday April 4th.
The Canucks are rested and healing after being swept in the Campbell Cup Finals by the Manning Comets.
Canucks Coach Marcel Capel says, “Fans are in for a real treat as far the quality of hockey goes.”
The Canucks are looking to rely on hometown support all next week in pursuit of their first Coy Cup since 2022.
