DAWSON CREEK, B.C. - Northern Health is reminding Dawson Creek residents that COVID-19 and influenza immunization clinics are underway in the city.

Both vaccines are being offered free of charge and are recommended for people six months of age and older.

Northern Health says residents can check its website for a full list of upcoming vaccination clinics in their area. New clinics are added to the schedule regularly, so people are encouraged to check again if appointments are not immediately available.

Appointments may also be available through participating pharmacies.

Residents can register and book an appointment through B.C.’s Get Vaccinated system at getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca or by calling 1-833-838-2323.

Additional information about respiratory illness vaccination is available through the provincial government’s website.
