City of Fort St. John announces winners of 2025 Community Awards

The city of Fort St. John has announced the winners of the 2025 Community Awards at the Moose FM Block Party on Saturday.

“Each of these recipients has made a lasting impact on our community,” said Mayor Lilia Hansen.

Winners were announced during the 18th Annual Community Awards Ceremony.

The city said each awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of those who make Fort St. john a vibrant and caring community.

The winners of the Citizen of the Year Award are Margaret and Jim Little, and Bailey Gauvin-Mayes won the Youth Award.

The Business Award was given to Elevate Youth, and the Fort St. John Hospital Auxiliary won the Non-Profit Award.

“We congratulate all the nominees for their dedication to Fort St. John and for playing such an important role in shaping the heart of our community,” said the mayor.
