The BC CDC said it happened on December 8th at the North Peace Cultural Center, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Health officials say that anyone who was at the Cultural Center during that time, may have been exposed to the highly contagious virus.
This is the first possible measles exposure in Fort St. John since November 28, according to the BC CDC.
The Centre for Disease Control said in its latest update that the total number of measles cases in Northeast BC has reached 288 for the year.
