Alberta Health Services has announced a series of potential measles exposure locations in across the Peace River region.
The most recent exposure location is at the Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department. AHS says you may have been exposed to the measles, if you were at the E.R. from 11:45 pm on July 17 to 2:45 the following morning.
AHS also reported probable exposures in four locations across the City of Grande Prairie. The health authority says a person with a confirmed case of measles visited all four locations.

- The Grande Prairie Hospital Unit 22 surgery July 7, 8, 10
- La-Pradera Mexican Restaurant July 6
- The Grande Prairie Winners July 6
Health officials say residents born in or after 1970 with less than two documented doses of the measles vaccine is at risk of contracting the contagious virus.
AHS has now confirmed 1,496 total cases of measles across Alberta, and 20 cases are considered to be active. They also say 1,156 cases come from people who did not receive any dose of the measles vaccine.
