After returning to a residence on 107th Avenue in Dawson Creek on Wednesday, police are now calling the death of Aaron Linklater suspicious.

Police secured the property until the North District Major Crime Unit arrived from Prince George.

Linklater’s body was discovered in the home on September 9th after police conducted a well-being check.

Sources close to Linklater said two weeks ago, that police did not deem his death to be suspicious. It’s not clear what investigators discovered at the home on Wednesday, to now cast suspicion of Linklater’s death

CJDC TV has learned that someone close to Linklater called police this week. Sources say there has been a number of attempts to break into the residence, since his body was found two weeks ago.

Police are asking for anyone with information, dashcam or surveillance footage of the neighbourhood, around the time of Linklater’s death to come forward.
