The 50th annual Fort St. John Trade Show returns to the Pomeroy Sports Centre this weekend. The show is sponsored by Tourmaline and begins Friday and runs until Sunday.
Hundreds of vendors and local businesses will be taking part. With thousands of people attending from all over Northern BC, it is the largest Trade Show north of the Lower Mainland.
Trade Show Manager Christina Hogarth says there’s also fun activities for kids. This year, the Philiip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum will be there for the first time, with presentations from staff.
Hogarth said, “Come hungry as there is a food court on second floor and a number of food vendors spread throughout the first floor.” In addition, there will be door prizes including barbecues and a $750 meat package.
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for youth and seniors, while children under eight are free.
