FORT ST. JOHN -- The North Peace Fall Fair is more than just an event -- it is a celebration of community, tradition, and the simple joys of life.
One of the region’s most cherished annual traditions is happening this weekend returning to 15177 Rose Prairie Road in Montney, approximately 20 minutes outside of Fort St. John.
The event kicks off today and continues through Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m. each day.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of attractions, including delicious food, live music, dancing, and a number of agricultural events.
Highlights include a tractor pull, cattle and heavy horse rings, produce judging, jamborees, a talent show, and interactive exhibits for kids.
The fair will begin each day with a pancake breakfast and parade around the fairgrounds.
To make it easier for everyone to attend, the fair is offering a free shuttle service to and from Fort St. John. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids and seniors with tickets available at the front gates.
