DAWSON CREEK, BC -- Two people are dead in Dawson Creek, and police are treating the deaths as suspicious.
On Saturday, January 14th, Dawson Creek RCMP located the two people, both deceased, at a residence in the 1200 block of 118th Avenue.
Police are releasing very little information thus far, only confirming that the deaths appear to be suspicious. The “E” Division Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation.
When asked, police were unable to confirm the identities of the deceased.
Sources have confirmed to CJDC-TV that the residence where the deceased were found was the same residence where shots were fired earlier in July. In that incident, shots were fired from a vehicle at the unit. One person was later arrested during a high-speed chase with police.
