FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- One person was transported by ambulance after a three vehicle collision on the Alaska Highway in Fort St. John on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just before 2 pm at the intersection of Highway 97 and 92a Street.

Fire, police and ambulance crews were all on scene.

Acorrding to the Fort St. John Fire Department, one person with minor injuries was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The northbound lane of the highway was closed to traffic, but has since re-opened.
