DAWSON CREEK -- Charges are being recommended to Crown Counsel after an alleged stabbing in Dawson Creek on Friday afternoon.
Around 5pm on Friday, the Dawson Creek RCMP received a 911 call saying one person had been stabbed at a home on 2nd Street.
When police arrived at the scene they found a victim suffering from a stab wound. Mounties say a family argument allegedly escalated between two brothers.
The victim was rushed to Dawson Creek Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was later released.
Police say so far no charges have been laid but they are being recommended. Mounties say their investigation continues.
