DAWSON CREEK -- One person is dead after falling from a moving vehicle in Dawson Creek early Saturday morning.
Police say it happened at around 1:30am in an alleyway behind Rockwells Pub.
Officers say a woman who knew the man, picked him up in her vehicle at the pub. As they were driving away the man fell out of the passenger side of the vehicle .
As the man fell he hit his head on the ground. Video surveillance shows the man get up and then fall down again.
Police say the victim then got up and walked to a near-by grassy area where he fell down once again.
The man was rushed to Dawson Creek hospital and then airlifted to an unknown hospital in Alberta, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Dawson Creek RCMP are continuing their investigation. Anyone who witnessed the event is being asked to contact police at 250-784-3700.
