DAWSON CREEK -- Residents in Rolla and Dawson Creek are being asked to help build a new home for the Rolla Pub owner Pati Martin.

Martin and the pub are regarded as a staple in the community.

The pub is now over 100 years old.

It was permanently closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to significant damage over years, including a drunk driver colliding with the building, it’s become unsafe to live in.

Organizer Kehly Christine reccently started the campaign.

She’s looking for carpenters, electricians and plumbers help build Pati a tiny home just outside of Dawson Creek.

The posts have garnered significant support from the community with many offering help and supplies.

Firm dates on construction will be set in the near future.
