DAWSON CREEK -- Kevin J. Johnston's case was back in dawson creek provincial court today.
Back on March 25, 2021, Johnston was charged with assault after an altercation with the manager of the No Frills grocery store. The Calgary mayoral candidate spoke at a freedom rally the following day after he was released from police custody.
Today a pre-trial conference was set for June 28, 2021.
The conference will be held in Prince George instead of Dawson Creek.
Lawyers from both sides will meet to make sure witnesses and the evidence in the case are ready to be presented at trial.
