FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- The Dawson Creek Kodiaks and Fort St John Huskies both playing in rare weekday games.

Starting with the Kodiaks, they welcomed the Grande Prairie Kings to Memorial Arena.

Dawson Creek fell behind early, they were down 3-1 by the end of the first period.

The Kodiaks could not mount a comeback as they fell by a final score of 4-3 to the Kings.

In Sexsmith, The Huskies playing on the road, handing a loss to the Vipers.

It was a tight scoring game but Kurtis Lee and Thomas Lowen aiding the Huskies to a 2-1 victory.

The Huskies next game is Saturday January 15, 2022 in Grande Prairie.

Dawson Creek will also play on the same night as they head to Fairview for a matchup with the Flyers.

Both games are set to begin at 8 p.m.
