HUDSON'S HOPE -- If you’re a resident of Hudson’s Hope, your Christmas decorations could win you a prize this holiday season.
The ‘Christmas Town Light Up Contest’ is encouraging the community to join in on the festive spirit. Residents are being encouraged to enter their home’s Christmas displays for a chance to win Canadian Tire gift cards.
Registration is now open and runs until December 12th.
Then on December 15th, residents can drive around town with a map provided by the district to vote on their favourite displays.
“On voting day, grab your family and friends, hop in the car, and take a magical drive around town with our special map to admire the beautiful decorations and vote for your favourites,” said the District in a Facebook post promoting the contest.
The first-place winner will take home a $200 gift card, with prizes ranging from $50 to $100 for the runners-up.
