HUDSON'S HOPE, BC -- Those looking to beat the heat in Hudson’s Hope can now return to the pool, after it underwent repairs early this week.
The pool closed Monday morning because of the mechanical failure at the water treatment plant. The pool water was cloudy due to untreated water being pumped in.
The district has since brought in treated water by truck, in order to dilute the pool water and maintain bacteria at a safe level.
The pool re-opened Wednesday morning. This week it will be open from 6am to 8pm on weekdays, and from 11am to 8pm on the weekend.
