DAWSON CREEK -- A man reported missing from Grande Prairie may have been heading to the Okanagan when he disappeared has been located and is safe.

The man's wife says he may have been heading to Penticton to visit his mother, but he never arrived.

He was last seen in the Grande Prairie area on June 2.

His wife says he was struggling with mental health issues recently.

His wife says the disappearance is out of character for the father of two.

She says her husband may have driven until he ran out of gas. She says there has been no activity on his credit or debit cards.

He is described as a Caucasian man, 5-foot-8 and 190 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a black suit with a blue tie, black Crocs sandals, and a brown baseball cap.

Anyone who may have spotted him or his vehicle is asked to contact police.
