FORT ST. JOHN -- Police in Fort St. John are asking for the public's help after several incidents were reported this week between two groups of students at the Energetic Learning Campus.
Officers attended the school after reports that small group of students were being targeted by another group.
Police tell CJDC TV News that the incidents amount to more than bullying, but did not want to elaborate further as the investigation is still in its early stages.
No one has been physically injured, however police say resources are available for anyone who has been affected by the incidents.
"The investigation will look to determine the motivation and intent behind these incidents and will dictate the direction the file takes," said Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations officer for the Fort St John RCMP.
Officers have interviewed victims and school staff. Police will continue to work with school leadership and the BC Prosecution Service throughout this investigation.
Anyone who may have additional information in this matter is asked to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
