FORT ST. JOHN -- Fort St. John RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in finding two suspects wanted in connection with a break and enter at a bowling alley in the city.

Police say on June 1st, the pair were captured on surveillance video breaking into the Fort Bowling Lanes on 104th Street using a prybar to gain entry through the front doorway.

The suspects, who are believed to be one male and one female youth, are then seen on surveillance stealing a backpack of liquor from the premises, according to police.

RCMP believe the duo may also be involved in a mischief case following a failed attempt to break into the BC Liquor Store on 100th Street that same night.

According to police, it is alleged the suspects used a fire extinguisher to try to break a glass entryway of the business, triggering a security alarm.

The suspects then fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie with white writing on the chest and a large white and red logo on the back, a ball cap, grey pants, and black shoes with white soles.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a grey sweater with the brand name ‘Crooks & Castles’, a baseball cap, blue jeans ripped at the knees, and dark shoes.

Anyone with information that can identify the suspects, or dash cam video of the area around the bowling alley around the time of the incident, is being asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
