FORT ST. JOHN -- Fort St. John RCMP are investigating after possible shots fired near 82 Street and 89 Avenue.
According to Corporal Madonna Saunderson, Mounties received a report of possible shots fired on Sunday night at 10:35 p.m.
She says witnesses reported hearing what sounded like gunshots; however, police have been unable to locate the scene of the alleged shots or potential suspects as of yet.
Eyewitnesses say they heard what sounded like four gunshots near Duncan Cran Elementary School. Police were also seen in the area.
RCMP are continuing their investigation and say they cannot reveal much information.
