FORT ST. JOHN -- Fort St. John RCMP are investigating after the Rotary Spray Park was vandalized over the weekend.

According to the city’s Communication Manager Ryan Harvey, the park’s washroom was severely destroyed Sunday evening. The sink was also ripped off the wall and thrown to the ground.

Security footage showed four alleged suspects walking away from the scene. RCMP is looking through the city’s security footage to determine next steps.

The cost of the repairs was roughly between $3,000 to $5,000, says Harvey. The park staff worked to fix the washroom. It is now reopened.
