FORT ST. JOHN -- Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a break-and-enter Friday morning.

While they did not release much information, they confirmed numerous individuals attempted to break into a residence. They received the report at 8:39 a.m. It happened at the townhouses near 88th Street and 102nd Avenue.

They’re currently in the early stages of their investigation. However, they have arrested two individuals with the incident. They did not release the names or charges of those individuals.

Eyewitnesses say there are still three individuals they believe are at large. They say one of those people lived in The Village townhouses, where a fire destroyed much of the attic space in September.

Fort St. John RCMP say they expect to release more information soon.
