Fort St. John hosts Fun Run tonight as active community challenge wraps up
Fort St. John will make a last-minute surge this evening in the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge.
The city is hosting a Fun Run at Toboggan Hill Park from 5pm to 7pm. Everyone is encouraged to come out and run laps of the 1.65km trail. There will be prizes for the most laps completed.
Fort St. John is one of several Peace Region communities competing in ParticipACTION’s healthy living challenge.
As of today, Hudson’s Hope is still leading the BC rankings. Northern Rockies is in 12th place, and Tumbler Ridge is in 17th.
There’s still time to log physical activity before the challenge closes tomorrow. There is a $15,000 prize for the most active community in BC.
