FORT ST. JOHN -- The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation will be holding its annual ‘Be an Angel campaign’ to raise $275,000.
The money will be used to purchase an ultrasound machine and other medical equipment for the Fort St. John Hospital and the Peace Villa Residential Care Facility.
The Foundation said with the equipment they can help reduce patient wait times.
The campaign will start on October 1st and run until November 30th.
The ‘Be an Angel Mailout’ and ‘Angel Trees’ will be returning from previous years.
A Gala and a Radiothon will also be held to raise money.
To show support, the City of Fort St. John proclaimed November as ‘Be an Angel’ month.
In 2022, the Hospital Foundation raised nearly $1 million dollars to improve patient care in the North Peace.
