FORT ST. JOHN -- A high school in Fort St. John went into lockdown after a female moose and her 2 calves were spotted nearby.
North Peace Secondary School was placed under lockdown on Friday afternoon.
Fort St. John RCMP, the BC Ambulance Service and the BC Conservation Service all attended the scene.
Reports on social media said someone may have been injured by the large animal. CJDC TV News has not been able to confirm if any injuries were sustained.
