FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- National Coffee Day is on September 29th.

Usually, Burger King offers $1 coffee to all customers. However, this year will be different.

Burger King in Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie is offering free coffee to healthcare workers.

This started on Monday, September 27th and will go until Friday, October 1st. Coffee is available to workers 24 hours a day and workers can receive any size or type of coffee they like.

Those in the healthcare field will have to show their Northern Health card and it’s open to all workers of Northern Health.

Trevor Bolin, the owner of these locations, says he wants to show healthcare workers the community respects them.

“I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be a healthcare worker right now. So, if this makes their day just a little bit better, then I’m glad we could be a part of it,” says Bolin.
