FORT NELSON -- A 49-year-old man from Fort Nelson is facing two counts of uttering threats after an incident over the weekend.

On Saturday RCMP received a report of threats at a residence on the 4500 block of Nahanni Drive. A man allegedly entered the victim’s residence and threatened him. The victim and a second man fled to safety, both reported uninjured.

Mounties took a man and woman into custody. A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence.

Christopher Hall has since been charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. He was held in custody to appear in court on Monday.
