FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- Charges have been officially laid against the man accused of soliciting a pair of children to touch him sexually.

32 year old Tyler Joshua Drapeau is charged with invitation of sexual touching with a person under 16 and attempting to obtain sexual services from a person under 18.

Police alleged Drapeau offered the children a video game card in exchange. When officers arrived at Kin Park Saturday morning - witnesses were able to point out a suspect who was in a nearby car, the man was arrested without incident and taken into police custody

Drapeau was a former pharmacist in Fort St. John who had his license revoked in 2017. He admitted to giving drugs to himself and others without a doctor's prescription over 30 times. He was also banned from working as a pharmacy manager for three years.

Those who worked with him say they're shocked and surprised by these charges.

Drapeau had his first court appearance on Sunday and appeared again this morning.

There is a publication ban in place due to the nature of this case.
