The Folded Hill Creek wildfire has grown again over the weekend.

The fire is burning approximately 60km west of Hudson's Hope. The BC Wildfire Service says the blaze is now 439 hectares in size. That’s up from around 250 hectares over the weekend.

The service previously reported that the fire was 570 hectares in size. However, they have clarified that report was a “data error.”

The fire is still classified as burning out of control. The BC Wildfire Service is continuing to monitor to blaze, and has not committed any assets to fighting it. They say there is no threat to the public or to nearby structures.
