DAWSON CREEK, BC -- Some hanging flower baskets in downtown Dawson Creek have been vandalized.
The Dawson Creek Recreation department posted photos on their Facebook page of baskets that have been pulled down and broken.
The department calls it “disheartening to the team that has taken great care in making them look beautiful.” They are asking anyone with information to contact the RCMP.
The baskets are hung downtown every year. On average, the City spends $30,000 every year on the baskets.
