DAWSON CREEK -- Dawson Creek RCMP executed a search warrant on a home on 119th Avenue.
Police say five weapons were seized from the residence during the search last Thursday.
Investigators allege serial numbers on some of the weapons have been tampered with, and a small amount of ammunition was also found.
One suspect is facing possible charges of possession of prohibited weapons. However, that person is not in police custody as charges have yet to be approved. At least four other people were removed from the house in handcuffs.
Sources say people have been coming and going to the residence at all hours of the day. They say there's been a police presence at the house for the past four years, which has been "frustrating" for neighbours.
