DAWSON CREEK -- The family of a missing Dawson Creek woman is posting a reward in connection with her disappearance.
The family is offering $16,200 for information leading to the whereabouts of Renee Didier.
Last week, police released new information about Renee Didier. Mounties released images of Didier taken from a security camera. CJDC TV News has learned the footage was taken from a gas station in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 3rd.
The images of Didier, who sometimes goes by the last name Supernant, were the last time she was seen before going missing. Didier was last seen wearing a black coat, a white shirt and ripped jeans.
The 40-year-old has not been in contact with her friends or family, which is out of character for her.
Didier is described as an Indigenous woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet and 10 inches tall and weighs about 120 lbs.
Dawson Creek RCMP says they are doing everything possible to find her. The North District General Investigation Section has been called in to help. Investigative analysis from Prince George is also assisting in the case.
Police are concerned for her safety. Mounties said so far they have found no evidence to suggest that anything criminal has taken place.
